— Lagos · Nigeria · A Bruit Costaud Institute

Shapethe narratives thatmoveAfricaandtheworld.

An institute of executive education for the communicators, journalists, and public leaders writing the next chapter of the African story.

SCROLL

We train the communicators, journalists, and public leaders who will define Africa's voice in the next decade.

The Bruit Costaud legacy

A house built on the long discipline of voice.

For three decades, Bruit Costaud has worked at the intersection of media, policy, and the institutions that shape African public life. The school is the formal extension of that practice — a place where the craft is written down and taught.

Our faculty has counselled ministers and editors-in-chief. They have stood in front of cameras in the worst hour of a crisis, and they have built the calmer machinery that means most crises never reach one.

SSCML exists to pass that knowledge forward, with rigour, and with care for the people who will carry it next.

The four pillars

Strategize.

We teach the discipline of seeing the whole board before the first move is made.

SSCML is the school I wish had existed twenty years ago. The continent has produced extraordinary communicators by accident — through newsrooms, ministries, and trial. SSCML will produce them by design. I am proud to chair its founding advisory council.
